At SCRA we have been thinking about whether or not we should use AI (Artificial Intelligence) and if so, how we should use it. To help us make a decision we would like to learn what professionals working with the Hearings System think about AI.

We are inviting professionals working with the Hearings System to take part in a workshop about AI. The workshop will last for three hours and will consist of two sessions.

The first session will explore views about the use of AI technology, how AI affects your day-to-day life, and what you think the benefits and risks of using these technologies might be for society.

The second session will focus on how AI could be used within the Children’s Hearings System. In this workshop we will provide delegates with some made up examples of how AI could be used. We will consider the benefits and risks of using AI and how these could be addressed.

The workshops will be conducted in-person (dates and times tbc).

Please note, you don’t have to be an expert in AI to take part!

If you are interested getting involved, please email or call Dr Annie Taylor from our Research Team, on annie.taylor@scra.gov.uk /07407 795280.
