We have published a closure report today to mark the end of our Keeping The Promise Route Plan 2021-2024.

The report provides an overview of our improvement projects, reflects on some challenges and how these are being addressed. It also gives an outline of what is next for the organisation as we further progress along our partners towards Keeping The Promise by 2030.

There is also a version aimed at children and young people.

Roma Bruce Davies, SCRA’s Keeping The Promise Programme Manager said: “Our Route Plan set out our commitment to Keep The Promise – focusing on both improvement and reform work.

“It’s been a really busy couple of years and we hope the closure report will demonstrate just what everyone at SCRA has been doing to enhance the quality of experience for children, young people and families. It also highlights what we have been doing to promote rights and improve information and communication to enhance participation and engagement in the Hearings System.”

Roma added: “The team would like to thank all our staff and partners who have worked so hard and shown real commitment and dedication to Keep The Promise.

“We would also like to say a huge thank you to all the Hearings-experienced children and young people who worked with us to co-produce some truly fantastic pieces of work.  They have been pivotal in ensuring we strengthen and improve the Hearings System.

“We look forward to working with them on the next phase of our journey to Keep The Promise.”
