SCRA joins UK Boardroom Apprentice Programme
We are delighted to announce that for the first time, we have joined the UK Boardroom Apprentice Programme.
Boardroom Apprentice is a 12 month unique board learning, development and placement programme which enables those who would like to serve on a public or third sector board to learn and gain experience in a safe way before they take that step. It seeks to enable a wider diversity of individuals to play their part in our boardrooms. The overarching aim of Boardroom Apprentice is to move the board member role from aspiration to reality.
Michelle Miller, SCRA’s Board Chair said: “We are delighted to have been accepted as a host board for the UK Boardroom Apprentice Programme.
“The initiative is a unique learning, development and placement programme, which enables those who would like to serve on a board like SCRA’s to gain experience before they take that step. The programme enables a wider diversity of people to play their part in boardrooms, something we are deeply committed to at SCRA.
“We very much look forward to welcoming our first Boardroom Apprentice to SCRA’s Board.”
