What decision should the Reporter make – Children
The Children’s Reporter has received information about you (called a referral) which means the Reporter has to make a decision about you.
You have the right to give your views to the Reporter about what decision you think they should make. If you give your views, the Reporter must take them into account.
If you want to give your views, you can use this form. Or you can send in the paper copy sent to you, or email, phone or ask to meet with the Reporter. You can choose the way you prefer.
You don’t have to answer any of the questions in this form, but if you would like to share your views, you can answer just the ones you want to. If there is anything you don’t understand, you can contact the Reporter.
What you say in this form will be used by the Reporter to help them decide whether to arrange a Children’s Hearing for you. If the Reporter decides to arrange a Children’s Hearing, you will get the chance to give your views to the Children’s Hearing about how things are for you and what you would like to happen next. You can contact the Reporter at any time if you have any questions.
