Introduction
This accessibility statement applies to content on our website www.scra.gov.uk domain. We have made every effort to make our website accessible and easy to use for everyone.

This website is run by SCRA. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

We also have ReciteMe software on our website which has a variety of different tools to make our website more accessible.

We will plan to either fix these by 31 December 2024 or replace them with accessible HTML pages.
Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
PDFs and other documents
The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services. For example, we do not plan to fix historical policy or procedure documents which will be renewed in due course.
Any new PDFs or Word documents we publish will meet accessibility standards.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared on Monday 15 January 2024 against the WCAG [2.1 or 2.2] AA standard by mtc, the company which hosts and maintains our website. It was updated on Wednesday 31 January 2024. It will be reviewed again in January 2025.
Recite Me
Our website has Recite Me software which provides additional functionality to website visitors with different needs.
The functionality includes: text to speech functionality, dyslexia software, an interactive dictionary, a translation tool with over 100 languages and it works across all devices.
To access Recite Me, visitors to our website just need to click on the Accessibility Tools button which is on the bottom right of each page
